About Me

Let me tell you a little about myself and my Poms. I am the mother of 5 children and grandmother to a beautiful baby boy. I have been happily married since 1988. I live in beautiful Hillsboro, Oregon. I was born in a small town in Oregon and was raised here most of my childhood. Oregon is a beautiful state. 

So how did I get involved with these wonderful creatures called Pomeranians? Well let me tell you I have been an animal lover my whole entire life. I always wanted a horse as do most young girls! I have always felt a connection to animals and I care for each and everyone one of them.  I am a cowgirl in my heart or hearts thru and thru and will someday have a farm and horse to go with it! We have 2 cats and 1 adopted dog than my Poms.

My best friend Trish Inman of Gemini Pomeranians introduced me to the world of Pomeranians. She has been very involved with Poms since 1995.

She is my mentor and I am her right hand cowhand (woman)! I started out helping her show her dogs and then I became a member of the Columbian Pomeranian Club.

I got my first Pom Sassy, a black parti, in 2003.  I cannot tell you how much I absolutely love this little girl. Sometimes I think my kids are jealous, ha ha! In 2004 I got a nice black girl from Trish she is out of Gemini's Sweet Arctic Angel and sired by Bi Mar's Spencer For Hire.  She is the dam to my first home grown show dog-Diego!  I love BLACK Poms and I am hoping to specialize in lovely show blacks.

I have been showing since 2004, I really consider myself a novice, I try to learn all I can and I watch the pros and talk with them to get pointers. I have to say everyone I have so far met in the show ring have been wonderful.

I just want to say a Big THANK YOU, to Trish, Christy, Robin & Dorothy my friends and mentors for all the help they have given me and continue to give as I grow and learn in this exciting world of Poms!!
